Danieli is looking for Mechanical Maintenance Technician to work in Apple Grove, West Virginia. The Mechanical Maintenance Technician is to inspect, repair, and make welding repairs as necessary, replace, install, adjust, and maintain all mechanical equipment, including hydraulic equipment, in a producing unit assembly or assigned areas. The Mechanical Maintenance Technician reports hierarchically to the Workshop Shift Leader. Responsibilities The Mechanical Maintenance Technician preforms a wide range of tasks to ensure machinery and equipment are properly assembled, setup, and ready for operation. Some of the main tasks include: • Rotating Shift • Must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards as always • Effectively and efficiently dismantles, cleans, repairs (welding repairs when necessary), replaces, installs, maintains, assembles hydraulic equipment, and lubricates mechanical equipment etc. • Adjusts equipment for proper operating gears, bearing, and shafts involving the application of press, sliding, and running fits. Operates simple machine tools, such as drill press, pipe-threading machine, power saw, etc. • Performs all mechanical repairs as required on cranes and mobile equipment • Lays out, installs, maintains, and repairs all types of pipelines, fittings, fixtures, and pressure systems as required • Repair leaks in hydraulic systems.
