Lead the effort to improve shop floor processes, tooling, equipment, and training to ensure quality and productivity. This may include design or re-design of work-holding fixtures, gauging fixtures, cutting tools, etc. 2. Write CNC Programs for single-spindle and multi-spindle turning centers and vertical machining centers as well as specify tooling and tooling holders for new and existing parts. 3. Work in concert with our Quality Director on customer issues. Work directly with shop personnel to determine true root cause and corrective actions. Support ISO 9001 Quality Management System. Requirements: CNC Swiss Multi-Axis and Multi-Spindle Lathe and CNC Mill Programming Experience. Need to have 10 years of experience in the metal cutting industry. 8 years min CNC Lathe set-up and programming. • Mazak 2-axis lathes (Mazatrol controls) • Haas machining centers (Haas controls) • Okuma multitasking lathes (OSP controls) • Nakamura multitasking lathes (Fanuc controls) • Tsugami Swiss lathes (Fanuc controls) Proficiency in all MS Office tools plus CAD/CAM experience is a plus.
