Machine Operators • Shelby, NC • Monday - Friday • 6:00AM - 6:00PM • $20.00/hr • Minimum 1 year experience Job Responsibilities: Machine Setup & Operation: • Set up, calibrate, and operate punch presses based on work orders and blueprints. • Monitor the machine during operation to ensure efficient and safe performance. Material Handling: • Load raw materials into the punch press and remove finished components. • May involve use of material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks). Quality Control: • Inspect parts for defects and ensure they meet required specifications. • Make necessary machine adjustments to maintain product quality. Documentation & Communication: • Record production data and quality issues as needed. • Collaborate with supervisors, fellow operators, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth workflow. Qualifications: • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders. • Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude. • Strong attention to detail and quality. • Physically able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks. • Team-oriented with good communication skills. • Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
