Job Summary: The embroidery machine operator is responsible for operating our multi-head & single head embroidery machines. Each team member in our embroidery department is accountable for timely production and reviews orders for quality and accuracy. We are looking for a hard-working, embroidery operator to join our team. Experience is a plus, but we are willing to teach and train. This position will be required to work Monday thru Friday with the occasional Saturday. Supervisory Responsibilities: · None. Duties/ Responsibilities: · Operate multi-head / single-head embroidery machines using standard safety procedures. · Minor maintenance, oiling and frequent cleaning of the machines. · Identify correct hoop size and proper backing, needles and thread to be used for each job. · Must be able to hoop apparel, load it on the machine. · Keep the machines threaded and running while getting the next run prepared. · Ability to set-up, tension, operate and troubleshoot embroidered apparel project. · Monitor embroidery orders to make sure they are completed on time and to the specifications directed by the customer. · Maintain an organized, clean and professional production area. · Digitizing knowledge and understanding is desired but not required. Required Skills/Abilities: · Attention to detail. · Exceptionally positive attitude. · Excellent verbal communication skills. · Strong organizational skills and an ability to work under pressure. · Strong commitment to meeting goals and deadlines. · Ability to work long hours during peak season. Education and Experience: · High School Diploma or GED Physical Requirements: · Prolonged periods standing. · Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
