Minimum Required Qualifications for the CNC Operator Include: • High School Diploma or Equivalent is Required. • Post Secondary training in CNC Operation or related field is preferred. • MUST have a minimum of 1 year experience in manufacturing. • Ability to read interpret complex technical documents such as blueprints and AutoCAD drawings, and adjust machine settings to ensure accurate production of components. • Attention to detail. • Good verbal and written communication skills. • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. The CNC Laser Operator uses computer controlled cutting equipment to cut steel, aluminum, stainless steel and various other metals into a wide variety of parts. You will be responsible for loading raw material into the machine, monitoring machine performance, and ensuring machine is properly maintained. Pay starting at $19.06 per hour with the opportunity to earn up to $23.69 per hour. What You’ll Do: • Perform laser cutting operations using cutting programs and fixtures. • Make proper set-ups for cutting operations. • Monitor machine performance. • Perform required maintenance on machine. Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the supervisor. • Perform all dimensional inspections. • Operate forklift as needed. • Use ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system to log in and out of work orders.
