Immediate Hiring For Machine Operator Job Description We are in search of a dedicated and mechanically inclined Machine Operator to join our growing team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire production line - from operating bottle machines to packaging finished products. You'll play a key role in ensuring quality, efficiency, and teamwork on the floor. Responsibilities • Operate computer-controlled bottle molding machines and monitor production output. • Stack finished products and pull samples for quality inspection. • Record production data and document any issues or downtime during your shift. • Ensure products are produced and packaged in the correct quantity and according to specifications. Our company specializes in manufacturing bottles and caps for various products. Adherence to GMP guidelines is required. The dress code includes steel-toed boots, long pants, jeans or khakis, and a t-shirt. We provide ear plugs, hair nets, and other necessary items. The shifts are 12-hour switch shifts, with a pattern of 2 on 2 off, 3 on 3 off. Shift times are A/C and B/D: 6:00pm-6:30am. A 30-day probationary period includes training from 6 AM to 6 PM following the same shift pattern. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Iowa City, Iowa.
