About the position Responsibilities • Load paper onto automatic hand-fed or web envelope folding machines and pack the finished product in a team environment. • Inspect quality of envelopes, labels, cartons, report variances to key personnel, and check current production orders/schedules to determine daily production requirements. • May be required to do rework on finished product. • Clean up work area during and at the end of shift. • Other duties as assigned/required. Requirements • Ability to keep up with a high-speed delivery output in a standing position for a full shift. • Mental alertness to stop equipment when a jam occurs. • Ability to step up/reach overhead/manually feed paper into the machine. • Ability to lift up to 55 pounds. • Manual dexterity required to grasp objects; exposure to arm and wrist fatigue. • Exposure to noise; must wear hearing protection and safety shoes. The position also includes reading blue prints, using tape measures and other measuring devices to calculate the cut length of rope lengths to meet the customer requirement. There may be other duties that are work-related tasks as assigned by management.
