Duties • Operate CNC machines and other machining equipment to fabricate parts according to specifications. • Utilize power tools and manual machining techniques to perform tasks such as cutting, shaping, and finishing materials. • Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate production of components. • Conduct inspections using tools such as micrometers and calipers to verify dimensions are within tolerances. • Loading parts in fixtures and chucks for machining operations. • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. • Collaborate with senior machinists to troubleshoot issues. Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machining or related field is a plus. • Basic understanding of machining principles. • Familiarity with CNC programming languages such as Mazatrol is preferred but not required. • Experience with power tools, welding, or fabrication techniques is advantageous. • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions. • Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing technologies in the machining field. • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
