Job Summary We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC machining and programming, with experience in operating various CNC machines, including lathes and milling machines. The CNC Operator will be responsible for producing precision parts and components according to specifications while ensuring quality control throughout the manufacturing process. Duties • Operate and monitor CNC machines, including CNC lathes and milling machines, to produce high-quality parts. • Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical documents to understand specifications and requirements. • Program CNC machines using Fanuc controls and CAM software for efficient production processes. • Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions and tolerances of finished products. • Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation. • Collaborate with team members on the assembly line to ensure smooth workflow and timely production. • Conduct quality control inspections to ensure all products meet industry standards and specifications. • Handle materials safely, including loading/unloading materials using forklifts when necessary. • Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations. Requirements • Proven experience as a CNC Operator or in a similar manufacturing role within a factory environment. • Proficiency in CNC programming, including knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles. • Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLC) and various machining processes such as fabrication, welding, stamping press operations, and press brake machine usage. • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools and perform basic math calculations for measurements. • Experience with SolidWorks or other CAD software is preferred for effective blueprint reading. • Ability to work effectively in an assembly line setting while adhering to safety protocols. • Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control throughout the production process. • Prior warehouse experience is an asset; materials handling skills are beneficial.
