Job Overview We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming, setup and operating of conventional and special purpose machine tools to machine metallic parts and wheels. Follow all site health and safety regulations and a strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential. Responsibilities 1. Operating industrial machinery, which can include hydraulic press, grinder, borer, drill press, CNC, vertical lathes, or overhead crane. 2. Plans mode of operations and sets up to produce machine components. 3. Selects, aligns and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, welders, attachment accessories and materials on presses, welders, cutting tools, and rollers. 4. Performing proper set-up and calibration procedures for all equipment and accessories. 5. Setting tolerance levels and cutting speeds. 6. Translates the requirements of detailed part drawings into measurements for production. 7. Inspecting workflows to ensure that technical and quality standards are met. 8. Devising a work plan to efficiently carry out daily machining. 9. Conforms to all governmental and organizational policies, procedures, guidelines and practices regarding safety, quality and economical efficiency. 10. Ensure that work environment is free of safety issues and the ease of flow through the machining. Requirements -1. Proven experience as Machinist / Machine operator 2. High school diploma or equivalent; certification or diploma in machine tool or relevant discipline is a plus. 3. Must be 18 years of age 4. Skill in operating machinery and tooling as well as precision measurement tools 5. Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings. 6. Computer savvy with basic understanding of computer programing and CAD/CAM. 7. Mechanical aptitude and good math skills 8. A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach 9. Able to physically stand, bend squat, and lift minimum of 50 pounds 10. Excellent attendance 11. Forklift Certification with 90 days of job entry 12. Multi-tasking and organized 13.
