Daily responsibilities include setup and operation of the machine, minor programming modifications (when needed), quality checks, and regular and preventative maintenance procedures. At CLM, you’ll produce a variety of components and parts as part of a team. Due to increased customer demand, we’re growing our team. Job Title: Machinist Job Description We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist to join our team, working with a variety of machines throughout our facility. This role requires expertise in CNC machining and the ability to perform setups, tool changeovers, and minor program edits. Responsibilities • Perform all machine setups and operate machinery efficiently. • Conduct tool changeovers and necessary adjustments. • Execute minor edits and adjustments to programs as required. • Run and measure parts to precise and exact tolerances. • Ensure productivity of CNC machines. • Make quality measurements, check dimensions, analyze data, and adjust to meet part specifications. Essential Skills • Proficiency in CNC machining and CNC lathe operation. • Experience with CNC setup and G Code programming. • Familiarity with CNC mills and CNC programming. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience with Haas, Kitamura, Okuma, Cincom Citizen, and Mori Seiki machines. • Ability to work on Mori Seiki Twin Spindle/Two Turret Lathe. Why Work Here? Support machines include sand blasting, grinders, honing machines, laser engraving, drill press, hydraulic press, band saw, and mig weld machines. Opportunities for 4-5 hours of overtime weekly.
