Machine Operator Summary • As a Machine Operator you are responsible for the efficiency and output of work orders assigned to the machine. In addition, machine operators are responsible for meeting or exceeding expectations throughout packaging and quality processes as outlined for each customer order based on specifications. Functions/Responsibilities • Conduct, behavior and actions in accordance with Oxco core values of Caring, Creativity, Determination, Dependability and Teamwork • Quality control- serve as a material inspector to assure that all quality standards have been met • Process orders-responsible for understanding and processing of customer specific details listed on the work order such as: • Length • Width • Core size and core attachment • Splices/Splice type if any • OD Parameters • Other special customer requirements as indicated on the comment section while operating within standard operating procedures • Setting up machines to start a production cycle in the proper manner • Package material based on specification outlines on Work Order such as: • Wrapping • Pallet Size and Type • Quantity and Orientation • Efficiency- work in the most productive and efficient manner while maintaining safe operating practices and quality workmanship • Use systems and/or paperwork for accurate recording of time, consumption, output, and quality notes as required • Raise any issues or concerns that arise during day-to-day work to the Supervisor, Plant Manager or President Qualifications Education: High School or GED Experience: 1 year of experience in a manufacturing warehouse environment preferred Skills • High attention to detail – accuracy in entering data and in communicating information with others; ability to see errors and identify inconsistencies • Collaboration – Work effectively with other personnel to achieve established outcomes and resolve issues • Dependability - consistent attendance is required and rewarded Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods. Must be able to reach, push and pull 30 pounds and up to 50 pounds with assistance. Must be able to communicate with others and complete ISO documentation accurately. Machine Operator; 2nd Shift

Position: Machine Operator (2nd Shift) STS Packaging , a Schwarz Partners, L.P. affiliate company is currently seeking a Machine Operator (2nd Shift) in Charlotte, NC. TheMachine Operator is to tend to the machine that automatically measures, folds, cuts, glues, and bundles printed roll stock into finished bags while adhering to company safety standards. This position works in our plant located at 1201 Westinghouse Blvd. Charlotte, NC 28273. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES: • Follow all safety and company policies, reporting any issues, accidents or incidents immediately. • Establish, maintain, and prep machine: Keep printed roll stock staged at machine & thread and splice printed roll stock into the machine. • Check quality of bag: ensure uniform registration, folding, gluing, and sealing of bags. • Make minor machine adjustments and assist with major machine adjustments as needed to ensure quality and efficiency. • Keep machine running by loading new rolls and starting the machine. • Maintain cleanliness of machine and work area. • Load kraft bundle wrap paper to machine and clear any jams as needed. • Accurately fill out daily shift paperwork. • Regular and predictable attendance. SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS: • Must follow Safety/GMP/PPE guidelines • Ability to work 8-hour shifts, Monday - Friday, including overtime and weekends • Team-oriented mindset • Production-focused • Take direction from Shift Supervisor • Basic mechanical knowledge • Read and understand instructions and job information • Excellent math and writing abilities • Desire to accept additional responsibility and learn new tasks PHYSICAL ABILITY REQUIREMENTS: • Continuous standing and walking with minimal sitting. • Able to bend, twist, kneel, crawl, and lay down on floor during cleanup/startup of machine – involves frequent, constant, continuous, and repetitious motions. • Frequent lifting and carrying of bundles that can weigh in excess of 35-lbs. • Frequent, regular pushing and pulling of paper rolls in excess of 1,500-lbs. • Frequent ladder and stair climbing. Job Details Corporate Headquarters - Charlotte, NC Full Time Up to 75% Day Installation - Maint - RepairDescription Primary Purpose and Function: The objective of the Okuma Service Technician Level 2-4 is to identify root cause and corrective action in repairing a variety of Okuma products and installation of high tech machines when necessary. Troubleshooting skills include mechanical alignment, hardware, software, peripheral devices and automation. This position will keep management informed of status by providing feedback to distribution, end users and Okuma service management with detailed trip reports. They will also produce technical/how to manuals strengthening distribution's ability to solve end user problems without Okuma direct support. This position contributes to the accomplishments of the customer service department through resolving complex problems that clearly exceeds the scope of distribution's ability. Responsibilities: • Travel to customer facility to provide troubleshooting and repair support when required • Travel to customer facility for installation of new introductory model equipment • Travel to customer facility for installation of retrofits and install design improvements • Diagnosing and helping our customers with problems either on the phone or by e-mail • Generate technical bulletins and repair manuals Qualifications • Associates Degree in Electronics or equivalent experience • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in CNC controls, servo systems, PLC's, automation, as well as fundamental mechanical background including precision measurement, machine tool theory, hydraulics, and pneumatics • Proficient in the use of precision measuring/diagnostic equipment. Not limited to, but include the use of: laser, ballbar, micrometers, calibers, precision levels, precision indicators, dynamometers, etc. • Advanced assembly drawing interpretation • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills • Customer centric behavior and great team attitude Additional Desired Experience: • 5 years of prior machine tool experience (Okuma preferred) • FANUC CNC experience • Okuma-Howa product knowledge • Prior technical writing experience
