Job Overview We are seeking a CNC Operator to join our South Charlotte Manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating mills and lathes to produce precision components. A key part of the role is to inspect products to drawing specifications. Candidates should be able to read blueprints and use measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and gauges to perform inspections. Ideal candidates will have the ability to recognize machining issues and make necessary adjustments. This position will work closely with CNC Programmer, engineers and production staff to ensure efficient operations, quality standards, and continuous improvement. Duties • Operate multiple CNC machines. • Perform daily maintenance activities. • Be flexible with rotating assignments. • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements. • Conduct quality control checks using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges. • Handle materials safely using forklifts and other materials handling equipment. • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and as needed for assembly tasks. • Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with safety protocols while operating machinery and handling materials.
