Job Duties and Responsibilities of Refrigeration / HVAC Technician: • Perform maintenance and repair on commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems. • Use hand tools, digital devices, and power tools to complete repair tasks. • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls. • Use work order systems to track and document repair activities. • Inspect and test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues. • Follow established safety policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance. • Complete required training for safe operation of tools and equipment. • Lift up to 75 pounds, climb ladders, and work at heights as needed. Qualifications and Experience of Refrigeration / HVAC Technician: • Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance. • Experience with large-scale rack refrigeration systems. • Type I/Type II or Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling. • Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record. • High school diploma or equivalent. • Vocational or technical HVAC/R certification preferred. • Mechanical license preferred, if required by location.
