The technician must be able to complete assigned tasks, work orders, and reports to Maintenance Supervisor Specific Duties and Responsibilities • Working knowledge of the methods, practices, and materials used in HVAC maintenance repair • Ability to work and follow OSHA and EPA guidelines • Skilled in the use and care of tools and equipment necessary to perform work • Ability to repair heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment • Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits, equipment, and energy management system • Ability to understand and work from sketches or drawings • Ability to follow oral or written instructions as assigned • Ability to plan and procure materials, and work independently • Ability to perform other duties as assigned by supervisor Minimum Training and Experience • Completion of High School • Five years of experience in the HVAC trade • Completion of courses or workshops in HVAC or related trade • EPA certification in refrigerant handling and recovery • Ability to obtain license in HVAC • Have a valid N.C. driver’s license Minimum Qualifications or Standards Required to Perform Essential Job Functions • Able to perform work based on self-abilities and upon completion be acceptable in materials, workmanship, and appearance. HVAC Technician

The HVAC Technician I performs maintenance, repairs and installation of assigned HVAC and Refrigeration equipment and controls, chilled water systems, boilers, and various other mechanical, electrical and building systems in accordance with client expectations and requests.
