HVAC/Refrigeration Service Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in the field of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. The HVAC Technician will also be responsible for troubleshooting issues and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including refrigeration units. • Perform regular inspections and diagnostics on equipment to ensure proper operation. • Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and schematics to troubleshoot electrical components. • Work with ammonia refrigeration systems as needed. • Build and design custom HVAC solutions based on client specifications. • Weld components as required for system installations or repairs. • Drive company vehicles to various job sites while adhering to safety regulations. • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs. Qualifications • Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role in the field service industry. • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams. • Familiarity with refrigeration principles and ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus. • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters. • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for van driving responsibilities. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Certification or relevant training in HVAC technology is preferred but not mandatory. • 3 weeks after 90 days.
