Work is performed under the limited supervision of the HVAC Tech Supervisor. Qualifications and Licensure • High school diploma or equivalent • Experience heating and air conditioning repair or combination of education and experience • Must hold NC driver’s license and maintain good driving record • Full knowledge of heating and air conditioning equipment and all related control systems Duties and Responsibilities • Services and repairs HVAC systems (boilers, chiller, air conditioners, heat pumps, etc.). • Performs preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment. • Installs exhaust fans or repairs fans. Changes motors, belts, bearings and pulleys. • Maintains heating and air conditioning equipment. • Assists with other maintenance work when needed. • Monitors inventory of equipment and supplies. • Keeps service trucks in good order, both mechanically and the parts stored inside of the truck.
