Looking for part time or full time. If part time at least 3 days per week. Salary range is based on full time schedule and depends on experience. BONUSES AND COMMISSIONS AVAILABLE What we offer: • Market Value Compensation • PTO Plan • Continuous Training for your Professional Development • Commissions • Working a relatively small map and the flexibility that comes with working for a smaller company Responsibilities: • Install/Replace HVAC equipment including, but not limited to: ductwork, attic and/or vertical splits (gas or heat pump), rooftop package units (gas or heat pump) • Perform maintenance and repair on various HVAC systems • Work on Residential and Commercial Equipment • Maintain good working order of company vehicle • Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle. • Travel to job sites in the service area, and work with dispatch software to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to the customer • Engage in conversation with the homeowner to uncover any concern or interests regarding their AC system which could lead to potential accessory sales or a new system replacement • Understand company pricing program and generate appropriate customer invoices and other electronic paperwork at the job site and electronically process credit card payments • Participate in company-provided, vendor, and manufacturer training opportunities on customer service and the latest industry technologies. • Work with apprentices and entry-level installers to coach and mentor Qualifications: • 4+ years actual work experience with knowledge in refrigeration function and theory, the ability to diagnose and perform replacement of HVAC related components such as Air Conditioners & Heat Pumps, Furnaces & Air Handlers, Duct Work & Zone Systems, Thermostats, Air Filters/filtration Systems, Low and high voltage wiring • Type II EPA Certification or Universal • Excellent customer service and communication skills with a strong desire to exceed customer expectations • Minimum Tool Requirements: Basic Hand Tools- wrenches, screwdriver/nut drives, sheet metal/duct tools, basic power tools and hammer. • Minimum Testing Equipment usage: Refrigerant Gauges, Electrical Multi-Meter, and Micron Gauge • Working knowledge of city/county codes • Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure job is done correctly the first time • Ability to crawl in tight places and climb ladders; work in attics, garages, crawl spaces, and on roofs • Be on an on call rotation to work occasionally after hours/weekends as needed • Willing to learn new skills and adapt techniques to comply with company protocols • Able to learn and utilize company scheduling and invoice software • Good driving record and willingness to go through a drug and background check Types of HVAC equipment we work on: -Residential HVAC Systems -Light Commercial HVAC systems -Residential Ductless and Multi Zone Systems -Commercial Multi VRF Systems Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $25.00 - $38.00 per hour Benefits: • Flexible schedule People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Experience: • HVAC Repair/Service Calls: 5 years (Required) License/Certification: • EPA Certification (Required) • Driver's License (Required) Location: • Tampa, FL (Preferred) Work Location: On the road

The Role The Commercial HVAC Mechanic will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of all HVAC systems and associated equipment within their assigned region. The Main Responsibilities • Install, maintain, monitor, and repair HVAC systems in assigned telecommunication facilities. • Complete preventive maintenance tasks such as coil cleaning, filter and belt changes, lubricating bearings/motors, and operational tests. • Respond to emergency calls to analyze and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and building-related problems. • Operate building management systems to troubleshoot HVAC systems and maintain energy efficiency. • Interact with internal customers, contractors, suppliers, and engineers to ensure systems run at peak conditions and identify end-of-life equipment. • Participate in commissioning activities and testing procedures for new and modified equipment/systems. • Keep detailed records of assignments, work activities, and equipment maintenance history in the Computerized Maintenance Management System. • Use various tools, including hand and power tools, precision measuring instruments, and refrigerant recovery systems. • Review and analyze mechanical and electrical schematic drawings to determine or evaluate work. What We Look For in a Candidate Required: • Minimum of 2-5+ years of experience in HVAC Technician or similar role. • EPA 608 license or universal certification to work with refrigerants/chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs). • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with ability to work autonomously and make informed decisions independently. • Ability to perform strenuous physical activities including but not limited to lifting equipment weighing up to 100 pounds, climbing ladders, entering crawl spaces, and manipulation of hand and/or foot controls. • Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record. • Performance of the position requires working safely and may require working outdoors in all weather conditions, all noise levels, hazardous conditions, and on the full range of outdoor work surfaces. Preferred: • 5+ years of Commercial HVAC experience. • Familiarity with Vertiv and Liebert equipment. • Completion of Technical/Trade School program focused in HVAC/R.
