As a Lead Installer, you are responsible for overseeing the successful completion of AC Replacements and New Construction Installation. You are the LEAD installer on the jobsite who is responsible for installing the Indoor Unit and overseeing that all elements of a job are successfully completed. Our Ideal LEAD HVAC Installer is someone who is well-versed in HVAC Installation. You must be able to install Heat Pumps, Gas/AC Systems, Package systems, Mini Split Systems, and all other types of Residential AC Systems. Commercial Experience is a plus as we also install Commercial Equipment. As a Lead Installer, You must be able to: • Install Air Handlers, Furnaces, Cased/Uncased Coils, etc... • Install Package Units • Fabricate Ductboard • Install Ductwork • Oversee the Jobsite. • Manage HVAC Installation Helpers and make sure everyone stays on task. From teardown to completion, you are involved with the removal of the existing equipment, ductwork, etc... and finally the reinstallation of the new products. Not only are you involved with directly installing the products yourself, but you are also responsible for overseeing the HVAC Installer Helpers who are on the jobsite with you. REQUIREMENTS: • Drug Free/ MUST PASS A BACKGROUND TEST. • Clean Driving Record /w Current Driving License • Experience Preferred (WE WILL TRAIN THE RIGHT INDIVIDUALS) • Preferably Nate Certified or Nate Certifiable • Must be EPA Certified OR Get your EPA Certification with 60 days of being Hired. • Have your own tools JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: • Organizes work by studying work orders, diagrams, specifications, drawings, and blueprints; gathering required materials. • Establishes environmental systems by mounting, installing, fabricating, or connecting compressors, condensers, evaporators, motors, expansion and discharge values, motors, temperature and humidity controls, fans, control panels, switches, fuses, filters, gauges, ducts, piping, tubing, and related components; completes power connections. • Tests and repairs environmental systems by operating the systems; identifying malfunctions; repairing or replacing sealants, parts, and components. • Keeps tools and equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs. • Documents actions by completing equipment records. • Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations. • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications. • Accomplishes maintenance and organization mission by completing related results as needed. • Successfully complete installation of Package units, heat pumps, furnaces, and mini split units to the highest standards.
