Job Summary This position performs service, repair, and maintenance on HVAC systems in a residential and light commercial setting. Job Duties • Maintain residential and light commercial HVAC systems. Perform routine services and repairs to ensure optimal performance. • Install new HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, heating systems, mini-splits as needed. • Determines general condition of HVAC systems and can troubleshoot HVAC malfunctions, determine extent of necessary repairs. • Conduct property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems, including drain lines and light electrical work as necessary. • Repair or replace defective components such as compressors, pumps, and valves. • Fabricate parts as needed for system repairs or installations. • Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about their HVAC needs and solutions. • Always maintains a neat work area and inspects that area for cleanliness after completion of each job. • Conveys a safety-conscious attitude, both on the job and while driving. • Wears floor savers while in the client’s home. • Maintains company vehicle, ensuring that it is always clean on both the inside and the outside. • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
