Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC service with expertise in low voltage controls, refrigeration cycle & recovery. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to read schematics, ensuring that all HVAC systems operate efficiently and effectively. Knowledge in VAV, VFD, pumps and water chillers preferred. Duties • Respond to service requests; troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair based on warranty and industry standards. • Maintain service vehicle, tools, and uniforms in accordance with company standards • Document work performed by following company procedure • Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot HVAC problems. • Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and components. • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all service activities. • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs. • Proficient at working safely and properly brazing copper lines and components. Requirements • Proven experience & knowledge in HVAC maintenance and repair or related fields such as property maintenance or appliance repair. • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various HVAC systems. • Familiarity with using diagnostic tools, including ohmmeters. • Ability to read schematics and technical manuals related to HVAC systems. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. • Completes other duties, including special projects, as assigned by management. • Clean driving record • Clean criminal background Job Type: Full-time Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) matching • Company truck • Dental insurance • Fuel card • Life insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Ability to Commute: • Winter Haven, FL 33880 (Required) Ability to Relocate: • Winter Haven, FL 33880: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
