HVAC Manufacturing - Solder / Plumbing

We are currently seeking personnel who can solder copper fittings, coils, and valves into HVAC Equipment and Solar HVAC Panels to join our team! You will operate oxy/acetylene torches, hand tools, and other basic power tools in a production atmosphere. Responsibilities include but not limited to: • Follow a designed plumbing schematic to install Valves and Coils in multiple brands of HVAC units. • Fill out inspection paperwork. • Adhere to Safety Policies and Procedures. • Complete work orders and requests in a timely fashion. • Able to work overtime as needed, including weekends. • Follow all written and verbal instructions. • Work cooperatively with the production team to meet quotas and goals. • Make every effort to increase productivity and efficiency without compromising quality. • Able to perform physical tasks that are repetitive and lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis ​Qualifications: • Previous experience Soldering HVAC equipment required. • Familiarity with schematics. • Deadline and detail-oriented. • Ability to work in a prone position as needed to access unit controls. • Ability to follow instructions. Job Description Support resort operations by performing basic HVAC tasks, including projects, preventive maintenance, and work orders. As a Trades II – HVAC, you will, Perform engineering projects, guest calls, blitzes, and preventive maintenance as directed by resort management. • Perform projects, guest calls, blitzes, and preventive maintenance as directed by resort management. • Execute daily tasks and assigned projects in HVAC systems, supporting other trades as needed. • Expertly troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on split units, air handlers, condensers, ice machines, refrigeration equipment for food and beverage, appliances, and exhaust fans. • Install or replace HVAC components such as compressors, coils, refrigerant line sets, and other key parts. • Conduct routine inspections for safety, mechanical integrity, and quality assurance as directed by management. • Read and interpret technical data and O&M manuals. • Actively participate in procurement and inventory processes to ensure materials and tools are available on-site. • Effectively operate resort operations devices and software (HotSOS). • Communicate professionally through radios, phones, emails, and verbal communications. • Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks as required by resort leadership. • Safely use hand tools, power tools, and battery-powered tools for HVAC work. • Work using ladders, scaffolds, lifts, dust masks, and in confined or narrow spaces. • Follow safety guidelines and practices. • Identify and report potential hazards on the property. • Communicate and interpret guest needs through positive interactions to ensure resolutions. • Adhere to all CFI/Westgate Resorts policies and procedures. • Always represent Westgate Resorts professionally through appearance, attire, and behavior. • Perform other tasks as assigned by resort operations leadership.
