HVAC Service Technician Location: 1880 60th Place E, Bradenton, FL 34203 Department: Facilities Pay: $27-$32 an hour Employment Type: Full-Time Position Summary: The HVAC Service Technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, dehumidification, and refrigeration systems for residential and commercial units. This role ensures systems operate efficiently, effectively, safely, and in compliance with all applicable codes and company standards, assuring uninterrupted operations. Responsibilities • Maintain, diagnose and repair HVAC systems in Cultivation and Retail Properties. • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on heating, dehumidifying and cooling systems. • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC equipment, including refrigeration and reheat systems. • Perform appliance repair related to HVAC systems as needed. • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used for each job. • Time sensitive and Solution-focused. • Clean and replace filters, check refrigerant levels, and test system performance. • Identify wear and tear or potential issues before they become major problems. • Restore optimal refrigerant pressure in HVAC systems per equipment. • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all work performed Qualifications: • Minimum of 3 years of HVAC service experience in residential and/or commercial settings. • Current HVAC Technician License. • EPA Section 608 Certification “Universal” • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, controls, and safety protocols. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school certification preferred. • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. • Ability to pass a background check Working Conditions: • Work performed in both indoor and outdoor environments. • Exposure to varying temperatures, confined spaces, and heights may be required. • Climbing extension ladders • Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work with tools and equipment safely. • Some travel required Job Type: Full-time Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour Benefits: • Dental insurance • Employee discount • Health insurance • Life insurance • Vision insurance Work Location: In person
