You will be required to manage maintenance technicians and help them solve problems on a wide range of products including air conditioners, heat pumps, Gas/AC systems, package systems and light commercial units. Not only will you need to help them solve issues, but you must also be able to train our staff and develop them into better technicians and sales people. JOB DUTIES: • Oversee Maintenance Department and foster a culture of excellence • Managing Maintenance Department • Create Maintenance Department goals and oversee their attainment • Hiring Technicians • Developing new and existing technicians into A-Players • Conducting Performance reviews • Leading Maintenance Meetings • Improving Maintenance processes • Maintaining and growing Maintenance department profitability • Maintaining safety compliance and service standards. • Prepare and manage budgets, invoices, and reports. • Manage inventory and order supplies and equipment as needed. • Oversee truck stock inventory • Oversee Maintenance Fleet Vehicles • Follow up with customers • Handling difficult customers and resolving complaints/issues • Meet & exceed KPI goals that include sales forecast, average daily revenue per truck. • Helping technicians troubleshoot difficult problems during normal business hours AND after hours. • Site visits to ensure quality • Visiting sites and solving difficult problems Qualifications: • Proven Experience as an HVAC Service/Maintenance Manager or Similar Role • Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, maintenance, Installs, and repair. • Strong leadership and team management skills. • Excellent organizational and communication abilities. • Clean Background and ability to pass a drug test • Valid driver’s license. • Ability to work flexible hours and handle emergency situations. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and dispatching CRM software. • Client-Centric mind set. • Dedicated to Excellence • Relevant HVAC accreditations like NATE certification.
