Commercial Service HVAC Technician

Pay rate based on experience! • Maintain, diagnose, repair, and install HVAC systems and equipment for Commercial and occasional Residential Customers, including VRF’s & Mini-Split systems • Install and calibrate thermostats, humidistats, solenoids, and timers • Troubleshoot inoperative indoor, outdoor, and rooftop units to determine causes of trouble • Service, repair, or replace defective parts and equipment • After repairs, completely evaluate the operations of the equipment using gauges, voltmeters, leak detectors, sling pycnometers, static, and velocity instruments • Perform preventive maintenance on commercial & residential equipment • Comfortable on ladders and roof tops • Strong capabilities with low voltage • Have meters • Brazing to connect refrigerant piping • Know how to charge a system • EPA certified • Lift up to 75 lbs and comfortably climb ladders • Must pass background check • Must have clean driving license • Please note: may not be an owner or part owner of an active company with anything to do with AC . HVAC Maintenance Technician

Job Description We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician with a strong background in industrial HVAC systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems that support our production facilities. Duties: • Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial HVAC, including chillers, boilers, air handlers, RTUs, etc. • Conduct preventative maintenance on HVAC/R equipment to ensure consistent performance and minimize downtime. • Troubleshoot and resolve complex HVAC mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and schematics. • Ensure all HVAC systems are operating within regulatory and safety standards, particularly for food-grade environments. • Monitor and adjust building automation systems (BAS/BMS) to optimize energy usage and environmental control. • Work closely with other maintenance personnel, production teams, and quality assurance to support food safety and sanitation standards. • Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and documentation as required by internal policies and regulatory bodies (FDA, USDA, OSHA). • Participate in on-call schedule for emergency repairs Requirements: • High school diploma or GED; technical degree or HVAC certification preferred. • 3+ years of experience in industrial HVAC systems, preferably in a food manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or similarly regulated facility. • Knowledge of refrigeration cycles, PLCs, and automated control systems. • Familiar with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and equipment manuals. • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently under pressure. • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in varying environmental conditions (hot, cold, confined spaces). • Comfortable working on ladders, rooftops, and elevated platforms.

HVAC Specialist (manufacturing experience)

First Shift. $29-33per hour Direct Hire/Excellent Benefits Position Summary We have an immediate need for a well-rounded Industrial HVAC Technician. We offer competitive pay and excellent benefits. Manufacturing experience mandatory. Maintains maintenance systems including PM and work orders. Performs routine maintenance and repairs to Industrial HVAC units and equipment. Essential Job Functions • Preventative Maintenance (PM) system • HVAC Industrial maintenance • Maintain maintenance work order system • In depth technical aspects of machine maintenance • Operate PIV and aerial lifts to work on equipment and move equipment throughout facility • Maintain housekeeping standards and 6S initiatives • Any other duties as assigned by supervisor Essential Skills & Experience • HVAC Certification a plus. 2 year college degree in related fields preferred • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in manufacturing setting • Basic computer skills required, including Microsoft Office software • Ability to work as team member or on own • Experience with PM systems Competencies • Mathematical ability (add, subtract, multiply and divide), practical application of percentages and ratios • Analytical skills necessary in order to evaluate machine/equipment functions • Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail when diagnosing, inspecting, and checking for accuracy of repairs • Ability to unload, transport and place heavy materials weighing up to 100lbs in appropriate locations in order to repair machinery and equipment • Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic and mechanical schematics and prints. • Ability to differentiate color when repairing electrical services with multicolored wires.
