Our HVAC Technician is responsible for performing, repairs and maintenance for a variety of commercial HVAC equipment throughout the Tampa Bay area. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Analyze, Plan, and Perform Preventive Maintenance of HVAC Systems. • Plan shutdowns for maintenance and repair for commercial HVAC equipment. • Troubleshoot, repair and make modifications to HVAC Systems • Adhere to all city, state, and federal regulatory statues • Maintain maintenance records as required by City, State, and EPA regulations • Order and maintain parts needed to repair and maintain HVAC Equipment • Manage relationship with all major vendor accounts • Properly maintain and safeguard system assets. • Other Duties as assigned • Understands and has mastered the refrigeration cycles. • Understands refrigeration recovery, evacuation and charging, understands the installation and sizing of refrigerant piping. • Understands, AC and DC currents, single phase and three phase circuits, and series and parallel circuits. • Ability to read wiring advanced wiring diagrams. Ability to use multi-meters to read voltage, current and resistance values. • Must be able to troubleshoot advanced electrical circuits. SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES • Able to read electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints • Ability to read and interpret documents, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and operation manuals. • Ability to organize work and meet deadlines. • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. OTHER REQUIREMENTS Must have satisfactory driving record, background and fingerprinting check, and drug screening prior to starting employment.
