Overview We are seeking a skilled Hvac Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and experience in service and installation of all hvac equipment both commercial and residential. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of hvac systems, performing installation and maintenance, as well as assisting a team of other qualified technicians as needed. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Pay Scale is $35 to $45/ hr and is based on Experience. Duties • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on hvac systems and equipment. • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues related to hvac systems. • Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot problems effectively. • Perform evaluations for job estimates as needed, inventory management. • Assist with design and layout of new systems as needed • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all operations. • Maintain accurate records of service performed and equipment status. • Collaborate with other technicians to ensure efficient service delivery. Skills • Proven experience as a service technician with a focus on hvac systems. • Strong mechanical knowledge, particularly in hvac appliance operation and repair. • Familiarity with commercial and residential equipment • Ability to read and understand schematics for troubleshooting purposes. • Valid driver's license with the ability to operate a van for service calls. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
