This role requires utilizing your technical expertise to complete tasks efficiently, safely, and on schedule while ensuring high-quality results. Duties and responsibilities: • Install, start up, and commission HVAC Refrigeration systems and controls for capital projects, ensuring all work meets project specifications and quality standards. • Perform equipment and system inspections to verify proper installation and functionality. • Troubleshoot and resolve HVACR system issues during installation, startup, and throughout project completion. • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety guidelines, local building codes, and industry standards. • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure project milestones and deadlines are met. • Complete EMS programming and troubleshooting. • Maintain accurate records of all installations, repairs, and service work performed, including equipment manuals and as-built drawings. • Provide support and guidance to junior technicians and field personnel as needed. • Conduct quality control checks on completed installations, ensuring compliance with project specifications and client requirements. • Communicate project updates and potential issues to the project manager in a timely and professional manner. • Assist in the coordination of material and equipment delivery, ensuring necessary resources are available for project completion. • Participate in continuous learning and professional development to stay up to date with the latest HVACR technologies and best practices. • Perform system tests and ensure proper calibration of HVACR and EMS systems for optimal performance and energy efficiency. • Address customer concerns and provide recommendations for ongoing maintenance or future improvements.
