Key Responsibilities: • Assists in the preliminary layout of complex projects, defining appropriate drawings and information. • Performs drafting to accepted client, company, and/or national standards, e.g., symbols, nomenclatures, engineering terms, etc. • Supports design modifications from provided sketches and/or data when prototypes are not available. • Work collaboratively with others (Project Managers, Engineers, and Designers) in a team environment to resolve design/drawing issues as appropriate and to accomplish objectives. • Verify the accuracy and completeness of all deliverable products and services in assigned areas of responsibility. • Willingness to learn new skills to improve design capabilities. • Requires a high degree of initiative and self-motivation. Revit experience preferred. • Excellent communication skills are essential for team-based working. • Experience with or willingness to learn MicroStation is a plus. • Experience in drafting for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems is a plus. • Design experience in creating electrical drawings, including single-line diagrams, P&IDs, elementary diagrams and wiring drawings.
