**Overview:** The Mundy Companies is seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team in the Victoria, Texas area. As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in a petrochemical, industrial, or manufacturing environment. **Responsibilities:** • Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand and power tools • Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem • Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components; inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes • Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous • Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system • Maintain current electrician's license or identification card to meet governmental regulations • Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes • Install ground leads and power cables to equipment, such as motors • Work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures • Place conduit (pipes or tubing) inside designated partitions, walls, or other concealed areas, and pull insulated wires or cables through the conduit to complete circuits between boxes • *Qualifications:** • Minimum of three (3) years of continuous and current experience as an Industrial Electrician in a petrochemical, industrial, or manufacturing environment • Craft certified or possess the ability to pass a craft test • Ability to pass a criminal background check, pre-employment drug screen, and other qualifications as required • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a safe and efficient manner • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing • *Benefits:** • Competitive salary and benefits package • Opportunity to work with a leading industrial maintenance, services, and construction company • Collaborative and dynamic work environment • Ongoing training and professional development opportunities • EOE/DRUG FREE WORK ENVIRONMENT
