Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Commercial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in industrial and commercial electrical systems, with a strong understanding of NEC standards, schematics, and blueprint reading. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems on various construction and renovation projects, ensuring safety and compliance at all times. The position offers opportunities to work on diverse projects, including high voltage and low voltage systems, with a focus on industrial applications. Duties • Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, systems, and equipment in commercial and industrial settings • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan electrical installations • Troubleshoot electrical issues using tools such as ohmmeters, multimeters, and power tools • Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low voltage systems to ensure proper operation • Follow NEC codes and safety standards during all phases of work • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment efficiently and safely • Assist with renovation projects by framing carpentry or maintenance person tasks as needed • Conduct inspections to identify potential hazards or system failures • Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople on construction sites to meet project deadlines Experience • Proven experience as a commercial electrician with a background in industrial settings • Knowledge of NEC regulations, schematics reading, and blueprint interpretation • Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and high/low voltage systems • Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment • Construction site experience including renovation projects is highly desirable • Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, and framing carpentry is a plus • Previous maintenance person or general construction experience is advantageous • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining safety standards Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Work Location: In person
