The Project Electrician performs electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and project support while assisting with various facility systems. You will work as part of the JLL Facilities team providing comprehensive electrical services at our clients headquarters in Class A office buildings across multiple locations including Round Rock and Austin. Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. On-call rotation expectation. Location: North Austin / Round Rock, TX Reports to: Director of Construction Primary Responsibilities: Electrical Maintenance and Troubleshooting: • Perform day-to-day electrical troubleshooting and issue resolution • Conduct monthly preventative maintenance on lighting, emergency lighting, EXIT signs, and electrical systems • Replace lamps and ballasts as needed Project Assistance: • Support electrical projects, including running new feeds and powering new areas • Assist with plumbing/piping installation and repair • Wire single and three-phase motors, run conduit, and pull wiring for machinery Work Order Management: • Complete assigned Preventative and Corrective Maintenance work orders in JLL's system • Ensure timely completion to meet deadlines and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) System Analysis and Problem-Solving: • Analyze various systems' operations • Identify causes of malfunctions and implement corrective actions Cross-Functional Support: • Backup other JLL Facilities team members with non-electrical maintenance tasks • Assist with basic repairs, light plumbing, HVAC work, and general facility upkeep Additional Tasks (as needed): • Help install and rebuild pumps, motors, and air compressors • Assist with heat exchanger work • Replace bearings and seals in motors and pumps • Support installation and repair of piping, valves, filters, and hot water systems Safety and Compliance: • Adhere to JLL and Schneider Electric safety policies • Follow departmental guidelines for hazardous materials handling • Maintain a clean and safe workplace Qualifications: • High School diploma or GED equivalent • Valid Electrical License for the State of Texas • Experience in commercial or industrial electrical work preferred • Ability to climb an 8' step ladder or platform ladder • Capable of lifting to 50lbs • Proficiency in operating a mechanical scissor lift for work up to 20' high This position requires a versatile individual with strong electrical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to safety and efficiency in a dynamic industrial environment.
