Licensed Journeyman Electrician

Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Journeyman Maintenance Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work on facility systems, machinery, and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. Responsibilities • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, control panels, and equipment. • Diagnose electrical issues using schematics, blueprints, and testing devices. • Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and production machinery. • Ensure all work complies with electrical codes and safety standards. • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs. • Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime. • Maintain accurate maintenance records and report completed work. • Assist in planning and implementing electrical upgrades or improvements. Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification preferred). • Licensed Electrician or Journeyman (as required by local regulations). • 3+ years of experience in industrial, manufacturing, or facility maintenance. • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals. • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. • Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail. Physical Requirements: • Ability to lift up to [X] lbs and work in confined spaces or at heights. • Ability to stand, climb, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods. Adjunct Instructor - Electrical Trades

Western Nebraska Community College (WNCC) is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Adjunct Instructor in Electrical Trades to teach courses that prepare both high school and community college students for careers in the electrical industry. This role is vital in helping address the current shortage of skilled laborers in the electrical trades by providing students with practical, hands-on learning and foundational knowledge. The instructor will inspire and guide students toward success in their chosen career pathway while ensuring a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom and lab environment. Employment is semester-to-semester, with no guaranteed continuation beyond the contracted term.
