Electrician Apprentice

Job Description • We are seeking a dedicated Apprentice Electrician to join our team, working alongside 4-8 automation technicians and electricians. • This role involves building new well site pads and installing automation, controls, and electrical systems for oilfield customers. • The work is primarily focused on the construction and installation of infrastructure, requiring physical labor and involvement in all phases, including conduit bending, cable tray installation, pulling wire, trenching, automation installation, and troubleshooting. • Most projects are within the JD Basin but occasional travel to Wyoming may be required as well. Per diem and housing offered when traveling. Pay/Hours • 60 hours/week • 6:00am start time - travel with crew from shop to site in work trucks. • $28-$32/hr • Paid weekly • Per diem paid when traveling Responsibilities • Collaborate with a team to construct new well site pads. • Install automation, controls, and electrical systems. • Perform conduit bending and cable tray installation. • Pull wire and perform trenching as required. • Assist in automation installation and troubleshooting. • Focus on infrastructure construction rather than technical programming. Essential Skills • 3+ years of experience in automation or electrical construction within oilfield, industrial, petrochemical, refinery, or heavy commercial sectors. • Must have basic tools.
