POSITION SUMMARY: The Lift Electrical Technician I is responsible for maintaining, modifying, and inspecting industrial electronics control systems on lifts, working under the direction of the Lift Electrical Supervisor. The technician ensures compliance with the standards set by Winter Park Recreational Association, Colorado Passenger Tramway Safety Board, United States Forest Service, American National Standards Institute (ANSI B77.1), lift manufacturers, insurance carriers, and internal policies. This role includes adherence to all Winter Park policies, local laws, and health codes. WAGE: The base hourly pay for this position ranges from $26.00 and above, depending on experience. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: • Conduct routine maintenance on lifts to ensure compliance with established safety standards. • Assist senior technicians with the design and installation of industrial electronics control systems. • Perform scheduled inspections to maintain reliability and compliance. • Troubleshoot lift issues as they arise. • Conduct pre-operational inspections to prepare lifts for operation. • Utilize shop equipment and tools effectively for repairs and maintenance. • Maintain effective communication about safety concerns and lift operations with supervisors and peers. • Promote safe working practices and report unsafe conditions. • Participate in safety meetings to enhance safety awareness. • Stay informed about new technologies and developments in the field of industrial electronics. • Keep supervisors updated on potential budget or scheduling impacts. • Engage in ongoing training and education to enhance skills. • Maintain a positive and helpful attitude while interacting with guests and colleagues. • Be available to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required. Qualifications and Skills: • Must be at least 18 years of age. • Possession of a standard first aid card is desirable. • A valid unrestricted US driver's license is required.
