Visit interstates.com/connect Responsibilities • Measuring, cutting, bending, threading, assembling, and installing conduit • Overseeing, or participating in, wire installations with conduit & cable tray • Connecting power to equipment • The ability to lead/develop up to 4 apprentice electricians • Knowledge of other construction trades • Ability to stand, walk ,and lift up to 100 lbs in construction work environment • Ability to climb, and maintain balance, on ladders and scaffolds while carrying tools • May be exposed to high and precarious places • Risk of electrical shock and outside weather conditions • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required • Other duties may be assigned Qualifications Education/Experience: We are looking for electricians with experience using, or the desire to learn, the latest BIM/VDC technologies for pre-planning and on-site coordination of all our projects. • 5+ years of electrical experience • Knowledge of BIM/VDC technology preferred • State issued Journeyman Electrician License (NCCER does not qualify as a state license) Location and Travel This position will require travel typically within 200 miles of the Aberdeen's office. Applicants must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. Per Diem and mileage stipends applicable per company policy. Work Schedule: Start times, break times and work hours vary per site and stage of our projects. Our employees work more than 40 hours per week but no more than 60, as part of our commitment to safety. Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, this role is often exposed to high/precarious places, risk of electrical shock, and all outside weather conditions. This role is expected to climb and work at heights and in confined spaces. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Due to the nature of our work and our client base, this role may involve tasks in an environment exposed to dust.
