Job Description ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety rules and regulations. • Adhere to company policy and procedures. • Under general supervision perform installation, maintenance, and repairs on a wide variety of equipment. • Perform routine maintenance (preventative maintenance) on electrical and instrument equipment throughout the plant ensuring safe practices and equipment operation. Report/refer defects or repairs as appropriate. • Perform emergency maintenance on failed equipment to get it back up and running as quick as possible. • Understand level of detail and expectations required for a specific task. • Assist with shutdown and start-up of equipment on shutdown projects. • Identify and relay safety, quality, waste reduction, and downtime reduction improvement opportunities to plant supervision/management. • Operate fork trucks and equipment/personnel lifting equipment in a safe manner and perform daily inspection and preventive maintenance. • Complete all paperwork accurately. • Follow verbal and written directions. • Perform other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE • Preferred candidate would be a professional with at least a two-year degree in Industrial Electronics / Electrical Engineering and have a minimum of 4 years of experience in a related field including two years of supervisory experience.
