Job Responsibilities • Observe and practice all corporate safety policies and procedures. • Ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and documentation. • Install electrical below grade conduit and Ground Grid installations. • Installations of above grade rigid conduit and cable tray. • Ability to perform activities related to cable instillation and terminations. • Installation of equipment related to metering, communication systems, and relaying systems which include electro-mechanical and solid-state electronic types where applicable. • Performs all phases of installation, and inspection of electrical and instrumentation systems. Qualifications/Requirements • Should hold a valid electrical license from any state. • Electrical apprenticeship program completion preferred. • Knowledge of technical practices in order to plan, layout, and complete maintenance or repair needed for high voltage equipment. • Skilled in using and maintaining electrical tools and test equipment such as rotation meters, digital test equipment, amp meters, voltmeters, meggers. • Knowledge of Substation grounding to create an equipotential work zone and skilled in installing protection grounds.
