Key Responsibilities As a Residential Electrician, you will: Troubleshoot, repair, and install residential electrical systems, from basic fixtures to panel replacements. Provide clear communication with homeowners, educating them on safety concerns and available solutions. Ensure every home you service is safer than when you arrived. Present estimates, secure approvals, and complete work to Mr. Electric's quality standards, and obtain payment from clients. Maintain a professional, respectful demeanor as the face of Mr. Electric. Use company-provided technology (tablet, software applications) to manage jobs, quotes, and customer interactions. Qualifications The ideal candidate will bring: Experience: 4+ years in residential electrical service work. Education: Associate's degree or equivalent technical training preferred. Licenses/Certifications: Eligible for state electrical license. (Motivated to work toward that direction). Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills in residential electrical systems. Excellent communication skills - someone who listens first and teaches customers about safety. Professional appearance and conduct; dependable, motivated, and customer-focused. Comfort with using technology such as tablets and job management software. Willingness to complete a background check, drug screening, and driving record check. Must have basic hand tools and battery powered tools.
