Tessera is seeking an experienced and hard-working Electrician with a positive attitude. Typical duties include but are not limited to: • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on systems, including but not limited to: • Building Automation Systems (BAS) • Fire Alarm Systems, including but not limited to master annunciator station and power supplied • Nurse Call Systems, including but not limited to code blue stations, zone/dome lights, alarms, and staff/master stations • Emergency Power Systems, including but not limited to generators, automatic transfer switches, circuit breakers, dry-tape transformers, and alarm panels • Lighting Systems, including but not limited to emergency lights, exit lights, and emergency-exit combo fixtures • Security Systems, including but not limited to duress alarms, intrusion detection systems, and door access control panels • Troubleshoot, repair, and install equipment including but not limited to circuit breakers, disconnect switches, panel boards, variable frequency drives (VFDs), dry tape transformers, motor control centers (MCCs), and associated monitoring/annunciator workstations. • Coordinate and work collaboratively with subcontractors, vendors, and cross-disciplinary teams to complete repairs, maintenance, and installation work in a timely and compliant manner. • Provide direction and oversight to junior staff or other personnel as assigned on job tasks, safety protocols, and workflow. • Comply with all applicable NFPA, NEC, and Joint Commission codes and standards. • Collaborate with infection control teams to implement proper barriers, containment zones, and negative air systems per ICRA, PCRA, ILSM, and CDC protocols. • Maintain accurate maintenance and service records using Maximo and DMLS's CMMS systems. • Must be willing to work overtime for new service orders, emergency repairs, and system upgrades. • Multi-task effectively across scheduled work orders, urgent repairs, and ongoing facility improvement projects. • Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment, supporting team members and participating in departmental goals. • Strict adherence to infection control protocols and PPE use is required at all times. Qualifications: • Washington State Journeyman Electrician license (EL-01) required. • First Aid/CPR training preferred. • OSHA 10/30 certification, NFPA 70E, or equivalent electrical safety training is required within the first 90 days of hire.
