Currently, we are seeking a qualified Electrician to work collaboratively with our sawmill in Aberdeen, Washington. About the Position • Install, repair, and maintain electrical and mechanical systems and mechanical defects • Recognize and correct mechanical defects • Troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on equipment • Operate cutting torch, gas welder, drill press, grinder, and hand tools • Perform general maintenance in a safe and efficient manner and maintain a clean work area • There is occasional heavy lifting and working in both hot and cold environments • Work may consist of varied shifts, with some overtime and weekend work during busy production times Qualifications • 2 years recent verifiable related work history or educational equivalent • Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and programming, motor control circuits, 480 volt 3-phase AC/DC motors, starters, electrical, and hydraulic systems required • All applicants must be 18 years of age or older Why Join Our Team? Electrician III

Position Description: Job Summary/Overview Circle Seafoods is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team in Aberdeen, Washington. As an Electrician II/ III, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all electrical systems and equipment within our seafood processing facility. This is a critical role that ensures the continuous and safe operation of our production lines, refrigeration units, and general plant infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: • Installation: Install new electrical systems, wiring, conduit, fixtures, and equipment according to blueprints, schematics, and local electrical codes. This includes motors, control panels, lighting, and power distribution systems. • Maintenance: Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on all electrical components to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance. This includes inspecting, cleaning, lubricating, and testing electrical systems. • Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and repair electrical malfunctions, including motor control issues, sensor failures, and power outages. Utilize various testing equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and megohmmeters to identify root causes. • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols, arc flash safety, and confined space entry. Ensure all electrical work meets National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and other relevant regulations, as well as US Coast Guard (USCG). • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all electrical work performed, including repairs, installations, and maintenance activities. Document spare parts usage and equipment history. • Team Collaboration: Work effectively supervising other construction/maintenance team members, production personnel, and external contractors to achieve operational goals. Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced electricians. • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for electrical system upgrades, efficiency improvements, and energy conservation. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance department. Qualifications: • Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Completion of a recognized electrical apprenticeship program or an Associate's Degree in Electrical Technology is highly preferred. • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of industrial electrical experience, preferably in a manufacturing or food processing environment. Experience with seafood processing equipment is a significant plus. • Certifications: Valid Electrician's License (Journeyman or equivalent) in the state of Washington is required. Technical Skills: • Strong understanding of electrical theory, principles, and practices. • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. • Extensive experience with motor control circuits (VFDs, starters, contactors), sensors, and instrumentation. • Familiarity with various power distribution systems (24v, 480V, 240V, 120V). • Proficient in the use of electrical testing and diagnostic equipment. • Knowledge of industrial refrigeration electrical systems is a plus. Soft Skills: • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. • Commitment to safety and adherence to all safety regulations. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities. Requirements: • Industrial electrical experience or equivalent education • Demonstrated experience and ability in mechanical, electrical and electronic maintenance troubleshooting techniques • Knowledge of basic AC and DC control circuits as well as terminology of tools, prints and equipment • Must be authorized to work in the US Physical Requirements: • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and work in elevated areas for extended periods. • Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including wet, cold, and noisy areas typical of a seafood processing plant. • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. • Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. • Must be authorized to work in the US Work Environment: This position is based in our Aberdeen, WA facility. The Electrician III will primarily work in a plant environment that includes processing areas, cold storage, and mechanical rooms. The work may involve exposure to machinery noise, varying temperatures, and wet surfaces.
