Overview: About Us: American Pacific Corporation (AMPAC) is a specialty chemical manufacturer, located in Cedar City, UT The Electrical Engineer at our chemical manufacturing facility plays a vital role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all electrical systems and equipment. This position requires an individual with a solid background in electrical engineering, especially within a manufacturing or industrial setting, to support the operation and maintenance of the facility. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical systems, as well as troubleshooting issues that arise to minimize downtime and improve overall productivity. The job will be at our Manufacturing facility in Cedar City, Utah Qualifications: Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. • 5+ years of experience working as an Electrical Engineer, preferably in a chemical, manufacturing, or industrial setting. • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and control systems, (PLCs, DCS). • Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD) and diagnostic tools. • Familiarity with regulatory standards and safety protocols (OSHA, NFPA, NEC). • Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
