About Ameren Illinois Job Summary: We deliver safe, reliable energy to over 1,200 communities in central and southern Illinois. As a journeyman lineman, you will perform a wide range of overhead line construction and maintenance tasks on electrical transmission, sub-transmission, distribution, or service systems. Key Responsibilities: • Work on overhead lines at all voltages, either dead or energized. • Perform similar and less skilled work as required. Requirements: • Successful completion of A.L.B.A.T. (American Line Builders Apprentice Training) or an equivalent lineman training program. • High School diploma or equivalent. • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License. This role is covered by the IBEW bargaining agreement and has a 25-mile residency requirement. Compensation: Grade Step DA 052: $54.61 per hour. Eligible for annual incentive payments based on company performance.
