This person will set up, adjust and operate a variety of auxiliary binding machines containing several cutting heads, control surfaces or other attachments (i.e. inkjet and mailing devices, case making & decorating equipment, folders, cutters, collators, stitchers, drills, binding/gluing machines and/or set up automatic bindery machines containing multiple functions and station capabilities (power paper cutters, power collators and gatherers, power folders, power speed binder) which can be electromechanically combined with other equipment and devices to produce a complete bindery and finishing unit that processes printed sheets into final books, catalogs, manuals, directories, magazines or other completed products. Job Summary: Troubleshoot and identify electrical and mechanical problems. Repair complex electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment. Utilize multi-skilled approach to problem solving and testing equipment and diagrams to isolate problems. Understand and utilize a wide array of tools and equipment. Welding and fabrication are a plus. Essentials Duties: Identify faults or problems in equipment/machinery.Diagnosing problems in a physical process. Identify faults in equipment. Critically examining information for accuracy/quality. Analyzing numerical and written information. Repairing machinery or equipment in a timely fashion. Regular checking of machinery for maintenance. Connecting or wiring electrical apparatus in sequence, and also running conduit. Using precision tools or instruments (e.g., engraving).Using hand-held power machinery. Generating solutions to problems with equipment.Suggesting new solutions to production problems. Finding ways to improve efficiency of an operation.Other duties as assigned by management Basic Qualifications: Experience in maintenance and equipment installation, including high voltage electricity and/or electronics.Minimum of 4-6 years of previous experience working on similar electrical, electron and mechanical equipmentPossess Technical Skills to complete both Mechanical and Electrical repairs. Electrical engineers at Williams International are responsible for creating electrical schematics, selecting electrical components, performing derating analysis and worst-case circuit analysis, circuit board layout, and performing testing of their designs. This position is a part of the engineering rotation program. Recent college graduates that enter Williams International’s engineering team can expect to spend approximately six months’ time in each of three different engineering departments such as electrical design, software design, controls, manufacturing, mechanical design, turbomachinery design, FEA analysis, engine cycle analysis, project engineering, engine test, component test, systems engineering, materials and process engineering, factory automation, product support. The Electrical Maintenance Specialist provides professional and technical support and assists with creating a strong reliability, maintenance and mechanical integrity culture within the area maintenance groups. What You Will Do • Assist area maintenance I&E teams with reliability and maintenance issues on PLCs, VFDs, motor control centers, switchgears, instrumentation, valve actuators, electrical contractors, petroleum quality and measurement equipment, motors, substation and other electrical equipment. • Collaborate with the area maintenance teams, LP Engineering group, Maintenance Advisory Team, ESAT, and consulting I&E reliability SMEs to identify and resolve recurring I&E reliability issues. • Lead and champion the implementation of preventive and predictive maintenance best practices such as non-destructive testing, infrared, motor analysis, etc. • Collaborate with the Region Training Coordinator to identify and coordinate electrical technical training for electrical maintenance personnel. • Collaborate with Mechanical Maintenance Specialist to resolve multi-discipline reliability issues. • Collaborate with the Reliability Engineer on RCA's, FMEA's, and continuous improvement efforts. • Review equipment installations and commissioning acceptance. • Work with SME's to address equipment failures and design modifications • Liaison with the MAT (Maintenance Advisory Team) as required, participate in Region mini-MAT Meetings. • Participate in JPS & ESAT as the Region electrical representative. • Drives job plan, engineering standards, and equipment specification improvements when identified. • Participate as an electrical SME in project design review meetings, PHA meetings, and Hazop meetings. • Support Regional communication equipment.
