We currently have an exciting Permanent (Direct Hire) opportunity in Shady Grove, PA for a Sr. Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 3 to 6+ years of Electrical Engineering Design experience and have experience with 3-D modeling software (Creo experience is a plus). Must also have experience with I/O modules utilizing Analog (Voltage, Current, Frequency) and Digital Inputs, Digital and PWM Outputs. Job Description: As a Sr. Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible to independently carry out moderately complex projects from start to finish . You must be a fully competent engineer in all conventional aspects of assigned area in order to plan, direct, coordinate and control the engineering effort directly related to the assigned area of responsibility or special assignment. You will also assist the manager in coordinating and controlling group activities as required. Prepare concept sketches, layouts, and specification documents as required. Product design, product improvements, test analysis, production liaison and service liaison utilizing a variety of engineering disciplines. Electrical design of circuits using embedded control module I/O and sensors, prepare component /control specifications and engineering documentation. Prepare analysis, test, performance, schedule, and cost information as required in assigned area of responsibility. Prepare and report on progress, feasibility, and concept studies, etc. as required. Assist other departments in preparation of manuals and sales literature on assigned projects. Maintain close contact and coordinate activities with other groups within the Product Engineering department. Ability to perform job functions in a safe manner. Successfully complete all safety training required by the time constraints set by governmental regulations. Required Skills/Abilities: Experience with tools such as PCAN to analyze CAN data. Strong communication skills for internal/external customers. Education: ~ Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Required: Must have 3 to 6+ years of Electrical Engineering Design experience. Must have experience with 3-D modeling software. Must have experience with I/O modules utilizing Analog (Voltage, Current, Frequency) and Digital Inputs, Digital and PWM Outputs. Must have experience operating and analyzing data from customary test equipment (volt/current meters, oscilloscopes, data acquisition instruments, etc.). Preferred: Experience with off-highway/construction equipment or Heavy Military Vehicle experience is a plus. Creo preferred, Creo Schematic is desired. Pro Engineer Wildfire 3.0+ preferred. Messaging structure of CANOpen components a plus. PE License preferred.
