Qualifications EDUCATION Required • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. WORK EXPERIENCE Required • 5 years electrical engineering experience in an institutional or consulting engineering setting including: design, cost preparation, project management, troubleshooting high and low voltage systems. LICENSES AND CERTIFICATES Required • Possesses a valid driver's license with the ability to be insured by Indiana University upon date of hire. Preferred • Professional Engineer (P.E.) License upon date of hire. SKILLS Required • Knowledge and application of all related codes including: national fire codes, ADA requirements, Indiana building and electrical codes, NEC standards. • Demonstrates leadership skills. • Ability to operate a computer, knowledge of Microsoft Office, CADD, Excel, lighting design software, generator-sizing software; volt meter; load recorder; etc., and building codes application.
