SUPERVISOR, ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE (La Crosse, WI) Hiring Salary Range: $114,900-$172,400 Compensation is determined by a combination of factors, including but not limited to education, work experience, and certifications. The actual offer may vary, reflecting the candidate's unique blend of experience, educational background, and skill level. The Supervisor, Electrical Maintenance is responsible to supervise and coordinate day-to-day work activities of the Electrical Maintenance team, including union represented and non-union employees. Ensure the safe execution of maintenance programs and construction activities for transmission and distribution substations and associated equipment. Provide hands-on technical leadership, scheduling, and support to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with procedures. The Impact You'll Make In This Role: ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 1. Schedule, assign, and monitor daily maintenance and construction work activities to ensure safe, timely, and effective completion of established maintenance programs (e.g., protection system maintenance, breaker maintenance, meter testing, voltage regulator maintenance, battery maintenance, etc.). 2. Provide daily direction, coaching, and feedback for Electrical Maintenance staff. Conduct performance check-ins and recommend development plans to support employee growth. 3. Monitor labor, equipment, and material usage; provide input to the Manager on cost center budgets, tooling needs, and resource planning. 4. Implement and document work methods and maintenance procedures; recommend revisions to improve efficiency and compliance with established standards. 5. Ensure personnel qualifications, training, and certifications are maintained and assist with identifying skill gaps and training needs. 6. Promote and enforce Dairyland Safety Rules and Practices; support safety meetings and provide instruction when appropriate. 7. Apply provisions of the Labor Agreement while maintaining a positive working environment; support apprenticeship training requirements. 8. Coordinate availability and readiness of tools, vehicles, equipment, and spare parts to support scheduled and emergent work. 9. Support procurement activities by providing technical input on equipment and service needs. 10. Provide field-level technical support to DPC members and customers, including troubleshooting and maintenance execution support as requested. 11. Participate, when assigned, in industry groups or committees related to substation maintenance topics. 12. Perform other duties as assigned. Your Experience and Expertise: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience: Bachelor of Science in a business or technical program plus five (5) years of relevant experience in industrial/utility maintenance programs and/or construction projects. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Prior leadership experience preferred. Must have 24-hour on-call availability. Skills: • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to organize and coordinate multiple work activities and schedules • Thorough understanding of safe substation construction and maintenance practices • Ability to lead and mentor skilled technical employees Licenses and Certifications: Valid Driver’s License.
