Chief Ethanol Fuels is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join the team. This position will act as the on-site electrician and perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled tasks while maintaining, repairing and installing electrical systems. Job Responsibilities: • Perform inspections, maintenance, and repair of all instruments and electronic components. • Installation of new and repair of existing electrical components or systems. • Perform maintenance and repair on electronic components; such as motors and starters, using hand tools and some precision tools. • Troubleshoot computer boards using calibration equipment. • Change computer boards as needed. Minimum Qualifications • High school diploma or GED. • Prior electrical background required. Preferred Qualifications • Journeyman's license preferred. • Good working knowledge of PLC's and programming. • Good communication and organizational skills. • Excellent work ethic and positive attitude. Physical Demands • Occasionally lift 100 lbs. • Frequently twists, tug, pull and stretch. • Occasional long hours required during breakdowns & occasional call-ins. Work Environment Job functions will be carried out in plant environment. Temperature will fluctuate depending on outside conditions.
