Electricians install electrical systems in the construction industry at job sites and are knowledgeable in the National Electrical Code and local jurisdictions. Prior electrical installation background is required. Scope of Work Torgeson Electric Company is currently seeking skilled Electricians. Journeyman electricians install electrical systems in the construction industry at job sites and are knowledgeable in the National Electrical Code and local jurisdictions. Prior electrical installation background is required. Pay Based on experience. Qualified Journeyman Electricians starting at $30.00+/hour. Hours 40 or more per week Transportation Travel allowance provided, if required Lodging Provided if Required Req. Experience Journeyman's License preferred but not required. Competition of an apprenticeship or equivalent work experience (8,000 hours) required. Benefit Package Paid time off, Paid holidays, 401K option with employer match, ESOP, and Health/Dental insurance. Applicant must be able to pass a pre-employment, (fit to work physical) and drug testing. DutiesTasks Installation of Electrical systems Direct and train apprentice to Install, maintain, modify and repair all electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment Inspect and test components of electrical systems, including transformers, transfer switches and switch gears.
