Key Responsibilities: • Execute electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance activities in accordance with project plans, electrical codes, and safety regulations. • Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and specifications to determine the layout and wiring requirements for installations and repairs. • Install, repair, and troubleshoot electrical systems, including wiring, controls, fixtures, and equipment. • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations, minimizing the risk of accidents and promoting a safe work environment for yourself and fellow team members. • Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and other team members to coordinate project requirements and ensure smooth execution. • Perform electrical inspections and tests to identify and resolve issues, ensuring the functionality and safety of electrical systems. • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including labor hours, materials used, and any additional project documentation as required. • Keep abreast of the latest electrical technologies, codes, and regulations, and implement best practices in your work. • Communicate effectively with clients, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any questions, concerns, or issues promptly. • Mentor and provide guidance to apprentice electricians, supporting their skill development and knowledge acquisition. Qualifications: • Successful completion of an electrical apprenticeship program and attainment of Journeyman Electrician certification. • Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician, preferably in commercial or industrial settings. • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair techniques. • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications. • Thorough understanding of electrical codes, regulations, and safety practices. • Proficient use of electrical tools and equipment. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, depending on project requirements. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
