Electrician As a skilled member of the team, the Electrician will help lead the installations of both commercial and residential PV solar, ground and roof mounted systems as well as battery storage devices. The ideal candidate will provide electrical expertise which will contribute to the overall success of installing PV solar energy products. Duties & Responsibilities • Work cooperatively with a team to complete the installation of PV products • Complete residential Main Panel Upgrades (MPU) • Work with peers and leadership to evaluate job requirements and cost • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical component and system issues • Lead efforts on safe work practices for the Field Operations team • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the process by educating customers about the product(s) and offering real-time updates on job status • Perform other related duties, as assigned Knowledge, Skills and Abilities • Possess an excellent understanding of the National Electrical Code • Eager to expand knowledge of the solar industry • Willing to travel • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously • A current valid driver s license and clean driving record Education • High School Diploma • Minimum 1-3 years relevant electrical experience • A valid state Journeyman Electrician License Physical Requirements • Work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures. Minimum Qualifications: • Must be at least 18 years of age. • Must have at least one of the following: • High School Diploma or G.E.D. • National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) • At least 3 years of manufacturing work experience • Electrical journeyperson’s card or at least 4 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience (or equivalent Military experience / applicable training). • Thorough knowledge of both national and local electrical safety codes. • Ability to perform manual tasks related to described job duties for duration of work shift; including but not limited to frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting. • Ability and willingness to work any shift and potential overtime (including weekends).
