Position Overview We are accepting resumes for a skilled Journeyman Electrician to assist our customers with the maintenance, repair, and installation of their electrical systems. While we prefer candidates who have completed an electrician apprenticeship, we are open to considering highly qualified individuals who have not. Primary Responsibilities • Drive to job sites to assess and service electrical systems. • Lead and manage teams of electricians with varying skill levels to execute projects safely, efficiently, and accurately. • Collaborate with other trades and contractors to ensure timely project completion. • Teach and apply knowledge of NFPA30 and NEC standards, navigating the code book when necessary. • Identify and resolve code violations. • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and control systems, in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications. • Diagnose and repair malfunctioning systems using appropriate tools and testing equipment. • Provide clear and professional answers to customer inquiries about electrical systems and components. • Adhere to all OSHA guidelines and safety protocols on job sites. Qualifications • Education: High school diploma or equivalent. • Experience: Minimum of 5 years as a Journeyman Electrician. • Licensure: Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation. • Formal electrician training and strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC). • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment. • Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. • Strong customer service, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. • Physical ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods (10+ hours/day) and consistently lift 50 pounds. • Comfortable working in confined spaces, at heights, and in physically demanding environments.
