Electrical Apprentice

Summary/Objective The Electrical Apprentice performs assembly operations to produce components or to assemble those components into an environmental test chamber. Preferred Education and Experience • Previous experience as an Electrical Assembler in a similar industry. • Experience working with Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and to climb or balance. The employee is required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk and hear. This position requires climbing and working at heights of up to 15 feet, climbing on our around chambers and working on ladders. The employee must regularly lift and move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
