Journeyman Electrician

Title: Journeyman Electrician Reports to: Energy Engineering Manager Location: Holland, MI Journeyman: Starting pay ranging from $34 to $40 per hour, with an additional 8% shift premium applied for 2nd shift or a 6% shift premium for 3rd shift. Come join the leader in advanced EV batteries! www.lgenergymi.com Summary: Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical equipment to ensure continuous production, execute regular preventive maintenance plan (TPM) and modify equipment as needed. This position is focused on PLC controls-related work and will be involved with mechanical or electrical work as needed and as qualified. Responsibilities: • Perform technical or electrical work to troubleshoot, repair, and modify equipment, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) • Check equipment regularly to ensure normal operating activity • Coordinate with outside sources to schedule maintenance for more complex issues • Track and document repairs • Perform regular preventative maintenance • Maintain a safe work environment • Monitor data from measuring devices • Work in a clean room and climate-controlled environment • Complete additional projects as assigned (e.g., wiring new sensors, gathering materials, sizing wire) • Perform physical tasks such as lifting, climbing ladders, and assembling large and small part assemblies and components • Fill in for other technicians as needed • Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards: • Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain • Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container • Follow LGESMI existing cleaning SOP’s during downtime (e.g. line stop, waiting time, etc.), which includes cleaning your designated machine and/or surrounding work area • Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: • High School Diploma or GED required; Vocational Certificate or Associates Degree preferred or equivalent, relevant experience • Journeyman license preferred Experience: • Pneumatic and hydraulics experience • 3 to 5+ years of experience preferred • Manufacturing experience preferred Skills: • Reading schematics • Working independently and across teams • Troubleshooting • Active learning • Problem solving and critical thinking • Computer proficiency • Making decisions in a fast-paced environment • Flexibility in response to multiple and/or changing priorities • Lifting and handling materials • MS Office Suite

Industrial Electrician Location: Holland, MI 49423 Pay: Open to discuss Schedule: Monday–Friday | 3:00pm-11:00pm - Training: 1st Shift - 7:00am-3:30pm - Overtime: Not required Position Summary We are seeking skilled Industrial Electricians to support electrical maintenance operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and installing electrical systems and components on production equipment and facility systems. Required Qualifications • Certificate of completion from a 4-year electrician apprentice program or 6+ years of hands-on electrical experience • Journeyman Electrician – Department of Labor card (Required) • Strong understanding of electrical systems, PLCs, and test equipment • Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals • Basic mechanical understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and power transmission systems • Familiarity with fabrication, installation, and safe electrical practices • Capable of troubleshooting complex issues and performing root-cause analysis • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without restrictions • Ability to obtain/maintain: • Powered Industrial Truck Certification • Michigan Driver License • Certifications in Aerial Lift, Overhead Crane, Lockout/Tagout, Electrical Safety, and Confined Space Entry Physical & Environmental Requirements • Exposure to large machinery, tools, and indoor/outdoor environments • Possible contact with dust, noise, solvents, paint, lubricants, and heat • Requires frequent lifting up to 50 lbs (heavier with assistance) • Must be able to walk, bend, twist, reach, and stand for extended periods • Regular repetitive hand and arm movements required • Climbing stairs or ladders may be necessary Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: From $29.60 per hour Work Location: In person
